ABOUT TAPESTRY RADIO NETWORK

The Tapestry Radio Network was founded by the fine gentlefolk of the Tapestry Initiative, whose membership originated with Ethan Bjartlett and Michael G. Lilienthal.  When one of them got a USB microphone, they thought they would start recording radio dramas - thus was Intermission born.  This quickly cascaded into the talk show Michael & Ethan in a Room with Scotch, as well as Pokemon Rollout!, begun by Michael and his brother Nick.

From its inception, Tapestry has been committed to finery - in art, in entertainment, and in fun.  In each of our shows, our aim is to bring you, Gentle Listener, something that inspires.  Whether you are inspired to roam and discover, to reflect and create, or to relax and laugh, we'll say that it's a job well done.  So please, Gentle Listener, uncover in these tones something new, something old, something that causes you to wonder.

ABOUT The creators

ETHAN BARTLETT

Ethan wishes either his father or his mother, or indeed both of them, as they were in duty both equally bound to it, had minded what they were about when they begot him.

He graduated from Bethany Lutheran College in 2011 with a Bachelor's in English, then went on to get his Master's in English at Minnesota State University-Mankato. For a while he was paid to teach, now he gets paid to do other stuff. In his spare time he writes, reads an unhealthy amount of fiction, and writes the script for the wonderfully-drawn webcomic Pin Porter, Girl Detective.

Michael G. Lilienthal

Michael graduated from Bethany Lutheran College in 2011 with a Bachelor's in English.  During his days there he minored in Theatre and portrayed such roles as Romeo (Romeo & Juliet), Orgon (Tartuffe), and Hamlet (Hamlet).  He went on to achieve his Master of Divinity degree at Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary, and serves as a pastor in southern Minnesota.  He regularly writes, having self-published one book, and won an award for a play he wrote and produced for the ELS Historical Society, maintains the blog Peculiar Taste, and otherwise spends time playing games, drinking Scotch, and frequenting one of the comic shops near him.
