First Paragraph Special #1

As you wait for the discussion of The House of Special Purpose by John Boyne, we didn't want to leave you totally hanging, so here's a bonus episode, in which we break all the rules!  Rather than read and discuss a whole book, we're going to read the first paragraph of two different books and discuss them as if we'd read the whole book!  Take these episodes to your English teachers.
